This week Slow Moses & The Gonna Get Theres will be leading us in an old hymn entitled “My Jesus I Love Thee” [see below for lyrics/mp3]. In this closing liturgy of adoration we will collectively worship Jesus for all He has accomplished on our behalf. Before this benediction, the band will lead us in a responsive reading taken from Psalm 32:1-5 [see below]. This is a beautiful passage of David rejoicing in the God’s free forgiveness of sin. Spend some time with the lyrics of ”My Jesus I Love Thee” in conjunction with Psalm 32, taking note of what both authors are worshipping Jesus for.
In an effort to equip our congregation for gathered, corporate worship, we are going to attempt to provide access to the lyrics and mp3′s of the songs for each coming week, as well as the liturgy specific to that week. While our long-term vision includes quality live recordings and eventually professional, studio projects, we truly want to provide immediate opportunities for you to prepare yourself to sing and worship with us each Sunday and throughout the week.
